PADI Open Water Diver

At least once each semester, IFU organizes a basic course in scuba diving. In this course you will learn the basics of scuba diving in a safe and fun way. The course consists of three parts, theory, pool lessons and dive into the sea.

During pool lessons you learn the different diving skills necessary to participate in diving activities safely. The course ends with you, for a weekend, doing four dives in the sea showing an instructor you have mastered the exercises, which are trained in the pool earlier.

After completing the course well, you will receive a PADI Open Water Diver certificate with which you can dive all over the world. You are then trained to dive under normal conditions to a depth of maximum 18 meters.

The course fee includes all course materials, loan of diving equipment, certification fee and entrance to the pools. In addition to the course price mask, fins and snorkel supervenes, since it counts as personal equipment. It can, however, be purchased at the first course occasion at a discounted price.
